Last Things
We believe in the personal and bodily return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords. His second coming is presented in the New Testament as being near or imminent, although its timing is unknown to men. He will receive His church to Himself and will execute judgment upon the unbelieving world, concluding with His reign in the new heaven and new earth. We believe in the literal fulfillment of the prophecies and promises concerning Israel's future conversion and restoration. We believe the saved will consciously and eternally rejoice in the glory of God while the unsaved will suffer eternal agonies in the lake of fire.

We also believe that eschatology (the study of “last things”) should have an ethical effect on the people of God. This effect is manifested in a heart that longs for the appearance of our blessed hope, a spirit that seeks to encourage the brethren with these truths, and holy lives that reflect the values of the knowledge that this present world is passing away and will give way to eternity.

Additionally, we recognize that there can be disagreements among genuine believers, even within the same church family, about the timing of the rapture as it relates to the tribulation (i.e. pre-, mid-, post-, etc) or the proper interpretation of the millennial reign of Christ. These types of things should not hinder our fellowship or divide us, even when we disagree.
